For those thinking of inventing a new product or improving on an old one, I'm giving you a heads up notice! The patent laws just changed Sat. March 16! I like to call it the "Snooze you loose" law!
In keeping up with the majority of nations, the US has adopted (yet another) global way of doing things. Previously, in the US, if you have an idea, and can prove that it was your idea, regardless of who files a patent, you have the right to sue the person who filed the patent and get an injuction against them from producing it. Also, if they are (or were) producing "your idea" you have a right to share in the profits! NO MORE!
Now, in the US it is First Filed, First Served. In other words, George O Maker decides he wants to design a thingamajig doe prospecting (or any other reason), and tells people "I'm going to make a thingamajig" Well good old George O Maker takes his sweet old time about it, trying to figure if he needs an attorney or not, and spends months and months "thinking" about it (Probably an excess of sugar), In the meantime, Bob I Takeit from Georges work builds ore (or at least makes the drawings up), and submits them. George gets the shaft and Bob gets the gold mine! And, UNLESS there is previous drawings to the invention George was going to make, well Tough beans for George!
The moral of the story, if you have an idea do NOT share the details with anyone! Period.

I used to believe that people talked about government conspiracies and secret government agendas were a little far out. But, as all prospectors, we are all well aware of the California dredging ban, the BLM and forestry closing of roads and the federal government creating huge wilderness areas where about the only thing the public can do in these areas is walk through them (In some areas I understand the public is not even allowed to walk through).it seems quite obvious that the leftist environmental wackos have a firm hold of both state and federal government policies.
One of the tried and true techniques of the left to push their agenda of moving the masses into the cities and not allowing use of our own natural resources or imposing restrictions on use of public lands has been the manipulation or suppression of true scientific data.
I could go on and on here, but I'm sure many of you would think that I was probably far out there. But, before you make that conclusion, please take a look at this video (through the link below) that conclusively proves my point. Although the video deals with the removal of dams in northern California, the tactics used are exactly the same as being used in California to justify the recreational gold dredging ban.

I finally completed the long awaited Crazycrusher Impact Mill. Finding the time to develop it was the main issue. This unit is the 2nd prototype. The first was just a mock up to test the functionality of it, and then went ahead with the perceived changes and built this second unit.
Now comes the task of finding the time to take it out and do test runs. Capacity needs to calculated, like how much it can handle (based in tonnage or yardage per hour). Looking for any “weak” spots that would need to be re-designed and implemented in to the 3rd unit, which will be the marketable unit... if it is taken to market at all. If not, at least I will have a nice impact mill to crush viable ores from old tailing piles.
But of course, I'll use the hand operated Crazycrusher for testing those piles. Since the Impact Mill weighs in at 120 pounds, (Mill, Stand and Engine) I don't see the need to haul it out in the field to do sampling, that's what the Hand Operated model is for... for “Prospecting”. The Impact Mill is for “Mining” production of ores, albeit on a small scale.
I'm excited with the features implemented in the design, and came with a lot of pre-thought of what “I” would want in a 14” impact mill with a 4” feed, easy open door, bottom output, easy change hammers, and more. I want the output powder to run directly in to the top of the Gold Cube. Crush a ton, take home a cup of cons!
Hopefully, if we go to market with it, it could be as early as this springtime!
Happy Crushing!
the pic i just postted is the results of running my bucket sluice for the third test cession. not sure if u can see it good but the shinie specks r fine gold from my cons i screened down thru a tea strainer
Hello everyone. I am new to the site, but my father and I have been prospecting for a couple of years now. I have been thinking of offering a panning class through our local community education service. I have been thinking that with the renewed interest in gold prospecting, that it might be an interesting way to pay for our own prospecting. I would like everyone's thoughts on the idea. I will probably need to buy some concentrates if I do offer the class, as our area may or my not have much gold. I would be interested in finding out who has the lowest price on possible gold bearing concentrates also. Well, that is my first blog post here. I hope that everyone reads this and gives me their input.
Thanks,
Dan
these are a few pic s of 2 claims that may still be for sale in idaho
My Yougest Son ( Heath) came down from Oregon with his Friend K.T. They got to Town late friday night after breakfast Saturday morning I went to the Creek and the kids went for a redding tour with Heaths Brother Brooks.
I met up (unplanned) With Charles Dickens and played until 2:00 at the Creek. Charles had spotted some Salmon Spawning just up stream so we kept all our work down stream from them !
Sunday after a quick PanCake feed off to the Creek we all went !
