Thanks Ken I appreciate it. I'm relatively new to all this and have equipped myself with a few of the basics but know little about the finer points of this game. I'm hoping to learn from a few of the old sourdoughs on here so I can find my first speck of gold. I'm retired and thought this would be a fun way to get out and enjoy some beautiful areas and stay active. Finding a speck or two on occasion would just be icing on the cake. I know Utah has very little gold so it gives me an excuse to travel a bit as well. I spent a week in Arizona in January and enjoyed the warmth and sunshine but didn't find so much as a speck. Now that takes talent! LOL!
Hi Ken
I remember you from years ago when I found the site. You Carved a spot into my memory with a post you made. :).
I just bought a couple gold claims north of boise, and will be in your territory later this summer. Would love to meet up if you can manage the time.
Hope you and the wife are doing well. Life's been crazy down my way. I'll check in with you again before the next time I come to ID. Maybe we can swirl some pans together while I'm there next.
