But your right, few people if any are interested in fine or extra fine gold. 1 and 5 gram ingots are good sizes to trade. You can get these factory seconds molds off of ebay or amazon cheap. 5/32" is the largest stamp your gonna be able to stamp a gram with. my stuffs over at storage and just have stamps/acid here and this camera is crap. there are a couple good boards that cover this too. This one is new and thats a reflection in the mold. Its actually black like the other two sweep holes. Easiest to have 2-3g of molten material and take the ingot from that rather than to try it close or exact and get voids. Pretty sure commercially, grams are stamped out of sheets of gold. cant imagine they would go through this monkey motion lol
Yes, Midwest is great to deal with. Paperwork??? Never had to do that with all of the dealings I have done, including placer, scrap jewelry, and my own smelted gold. Is this something new since last month??

if you sell to a refiner u have to fill out all the AML paper work
