The day finally came! George came down to my house the night before, then Golddog showed up that morning with a load of dredges. We were able to get George's highbanker loaded, then it was down to Digger Joe's place to get him and his dredge. Made it to Joe's and he was ready to roll, so on down the road we went.

Wow, I can't believe it, I actually ranked number 6 this week, I hope to make it to the #1 spot. I feel honored to make it as far as I have though, considering that I'm still in the learning phase. Of course, I'm always learning something new, new places to explore, new methods to try, and new people to meet. And with the forming of the local chapter coming up in October, I'm learning what it takes to take on a great responsibility.

I recently purchased a 45 qt. tote with lid, to store my panning gear in during the off-season, in order to keep it dry. I never knew until a few days back that it would come in handy for another good purpose.
