Maine coast pics

Headed to the coast for some beach detecting today. The wind was howling so a video wasnt possible. Apparently I'm not the only one who thought this is a good spot for detecting. The finds were few and far between. I ended up with a spoon, a 51 wheatie, few pull tabs and bits of aluminum cans. Cleanest beach I ever been to. Hardly any targets at all which makes me think it's been worked over already. But I did take a few pics to show you all my neck of the woods.

This was todays detecting spot...

The seagulls are fun to watch as they pick up crabs and shellfish and fly up in the air and drop them on big rocks to break them open...

All the rocks that are submerged at high tide are covered with snails, barnacles and seaweed at low tide...

I went up in the wooded area above high tide line to get out of the wind and have smoke break and this fella showed up and was not happy I was there. He was about 5 feet away and barked at me the whole time I was there. He's lucky I left my 45 in the truck j/k.

Heres a couple more pics of the area...

And a panoramic shot of the bay...

The finds were minimal but with a view like this, it was a fantastic day!
