in 1988 the fish run, klamath kings, was so heavy ,that we could not swim in the trinity river.coming into trinity lake was about 300 cfm.going down clear creek tunnel to the sacramento, about 5000 cfm,s going down trinity river about 350 cfm,s. get the p-icture?water temperature, and gravel to spawn, the dams, water diversions are what hurt the fish.not fisherman, indians,or whatever.4 year cycle w/salmon 1992 was dismal. and water temperature/silt was/is the cause.the govermant KILLED the fish.and expect a fish tax. cheers.

Ya, tax the fish. They all have a "Fin" they can spare. LOL
I'm sure that some of you may have noticed that fish move into our holes when we are away.
"Brookies" move right in while I'm feeding my sluice. I look over my shoulder and see them shooting into the hole.
