  Flower Gold! Gold that was pushed into Iowa from Canada By several Glacial Moraines. I belong to the only Iowa Gold Club and we have several outtings during the year. I purchased a Highbanker (Excalibur) from Angus MacKirk early this year. After making a few modifications I have been able to get the very fine gold that is in streams here in Iowa. I also use the Desert Fox to seperate the gold from the black sand.

  Depends on the day. One weekend in July was 22 ounces for two days. Most of the time it is 1-3 oz days.

  Hey Larry.. I just had sugery for a ruptured achilles ..Doc said everything went well I just have to lurn to walk again!! If it wern't for this leg I'd be out in Tujunga this weekend.. as soon as I do get up and around I'm plannpng on building a Baja pickup so I can get to those hard to find spots!! I've got the engine and transmission i just have to find out if I can still use a clutch or convert it to a automatic!! It may be a few months but I'll be chasing color soon !!

  Thanks for the Invite Larry. where and when do you all meet/ I'm actually in Bell not far from long Beach. I do go up to Azusa every chance I get .I've met some great folks at the east fork !! I just can't wait to get back to walking so I can start searching for some color.. just joined the GPAA today I figure since I'm laid up I can use the time too start doing some more research and start planning some trips .. I was planning to get up to Dyer NV in OCT, But i have too get my leg rehabed before I go,, thanks again Mike D, bell Ca
