  • Well Andrew the gate down in to the Union Hill pond area is still locked and a closed to motorised vehicals sign on it I don't take that as good sign concerning forest road closures, guess its walking in if I want to play there.
    • howard, sorry bout that.was on the coast till late friday, could not check the infernal gate and post status.gates here have always said no offroading, when shut thats what you see.some specify open/shut dates.usually summer/winter.winter shut/summer open.so,did you go to steel bridge instead?i know a good non-motorised spot there.btw, have some ideas re gate keys.bring your ear protection.heres my travel management plan.luck

  • we have been watching.shasta/trinity nf,along with all the rest, are preparing closures to the bulk of the public domains.existing roads will supposedly remain open.most remote area forest roads have been gated here for ten years or more already.gate key styles vary. from four foot tubing cutters,thermite,rem.7mm mag.,jerk em outta the ground with a good truck,or just plain old go round em.these are local protocol closures, not based upon the constitutional right to free access of so called public land.pack animals are coming back into vogue.a locked gate has two sides.if i am ten miles beyond a locked gate, who is really in charge?adapt and overcome.vote this year, with care.and again in two years.wont fix much, but what choice? the elite eco-facist party will never stop.except at locked gates.(sheesh,no more looky-lous)tx uncle sam.

      • errr, didnt think youd mind...no really, you have a big bear too? pretty good work horse,in low range it pulls about anything.utility quads usually have good racks on em.yanks out bushes, goes under those infernal forest road gates,12mm wrench, loosen handlebar clamps, bars lay down.voila! travel management plan modification.and i can bring a big lunch.yep, two sides to every locked gate.the side yer on,and of course, the other side.need to paint mine camo.gas is going up,will burn less if i cant find the quad.my theory, stickin to it.
  • We need an influance that holds the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the final defining decision.
And to go with that, the power to enforce, and bring to justice, those officials, "Deemed", to be
in contempt. Immediate loss of office, with loss of all gov't bennefits, and a manditory minimum of 5 Yrs. in Fed prison.

Until "We The People" do something, it's gonna take a whole lot more than "calling your senator". Like they listen now? Pl-eease! It's just gonna go on, and on, and on, and......until what, a "Pitchfork" rebellin?

Can we get something on the general election ballots?
Gonna take a whole heck of a lot of signitures and time.
But, now we're relying on "election time" for any posssible resolve.
What 'til then? "They" keep trodding us down!
    • And let's not forget "Term Limits".
2 yrs, and you are out, no lifetime bennies, GET A JOB!

Thus, the end of the "Lifelong, Career Politician".
    • Steel Pan you are so right. I just thought this was a good place to start I knew most people didn't know what they were doing so as more people get the word maybe we can start something
