I'M looking for someone to prospect with around Mammoth,Arizona. I have a good spot to go find nice gold but I bought a metal detector and don't really know how to use it. I have everything to prospect with a dry washer, recirc. high banker, spiral pan. just an ol' country boy that likes to dig holes in the desert.

Finally got out this weekend. No dredging, too much water, but we did find some good stuff. Got two new AMRA claims staked out. Great claims with lots of fine gold and nuggets, i've personally witnessed a 3/4 ouncer found while i was there. Went and checked out a few other spots that are not claimed and one is very promising with good gold found and one is not going to get claimed by us but we did find some awesome malachite, azurite, and chrysocolla specimens. Pics are on the way.

I have to beat the war injuries and PTSD. And the best way i know to do that is go dig a giant hole in the river. Think i will go dig untill my VA apt. gotta talk to the head doctor today about changing my meds. untill then i think i will just get outside and do what makes me happy.
Prayers are very much needed here. going through one of the roughest times of my life.
As most know i suffer from PTSD, brain damage and all the crap that goes with suffering from wartime injuries.
Winter time makes it all worse! I am having a really bad time right now. prayers would be appreciated.
If your the praying type then please pray for me.
It seems as if the nightmares and flasbacks won't leave me alone.

The VA hospital will not help in any way for my veterans prospecting outing to help disabled and PTSD veterans.
I really need help from everyone. I need 6-8 veterans who suffer PTSD or who are disabled. I have volunteers to help, but i need help finding Veterans and thier families to attend.
Of course the wounded veterans family is welcome as well.
Everything except transportation will be taken care of. Plus everyone attending will get a vial with gold to take home.
Prospecting has been the biggest therapy and help for me. I know it can be for others also. I really want to make this happen.

Myself and a few other veterans are planning a digging day or two for this summer. The guests will be disabled Veterans and Veterans suffering from PTSD. But all veterans are welcome.
We are trying to get them out to the river for some basic outdoor man therapy.
What i could use help with is some people to donate thier time and equipment for the disabled veterans to use. I don't have enough gear to do it. and i sure cant be helping everyone at once.
I really need some civilian prospectors to pull this off.
It will be a worthwhile experience to see these men and what they persevere through everyday. The goal is to put smiles on thier faces.
Prospecting with Ed and Jesse was asked by the Buckeye Chapter of the GPAA to try and get together with local Boy Scout troops in the North west part of Ohio to promote prospecting. We were invited to attend and give panning demonstrations at this years Klondike Derby at Camp Miakonda, Erie Shores Council, in Toledo Ohio.Jan,27,28,29. Thanks to the Ohio State Prospectors Association and The Buckeye chapter of the GPAA and their volunteers we should be able to put on a good demonstration
In the process of promoting prospecting and educating the public on the history and necessity of mining, we have been contacted by a couple of veterans organizations that want us to work the the physically disabled veterans and veterans suffering from PTSD & TBI. This is something both Ed and I are committed to do, but we need your help. We are asking the members and our friends to help us in this endeavor. Ed and I have started what we call our demo-con bucket. In this bucket we will be putting the cons we get from the "BUCKET" whenever we go out prospecting. Our problem is that being in Ohio it will take us a long time to fill a five gallon bucket with cons enough to take around to these different Veterans events and to make sure the vet have wonderful experience. We don't have the money to buy bags of pay-dirt to get us were we need to be so we are asking our friends and members of this site for donations of some of there cons that we can add to the Demo-cons bucket. all those that donate will be mentioned in our videos unless you ask us not to mention your name.
