Fine Gold Dredge

I have a location with lots of fine gold much 100 mesh.
Been taking buckets home classified to 1/4 inch and sieved down more.
Filled up a 100 gallon drum so far and can pan dozens of tiny colors per cup.
Plan to classify further and run on miller table

Sucker Tube Nozzle

I building a sucker tube like the gold n sands . It has a 2" barrel and I was wondering if a 1/2" nozzle is too small? I was thinking it would be good for classification but would it wear me out pumping it. I would like it to classify down to a 1/4"
