What is this? Any ideas!

Found this piece of Quartz while dredging and it has some spots on it that are a dull silver color and of course there is Micah on it to I just am not sure what the dull silver is. Is there a chance that it may be gold covered with Mercury or maybe platinum/silver? I've never seen any so I'm just asking for any thoughts! Hopefully u can see it in my pics

    I would guess it is Galena a combination of Silver and Lead making it Blk

      i think your right spur galena looks like that or iron pyrite

    if you scrape it with a knife is it shiny
