I just noticed, the other day, that White's Electronics has been using 3 of my youtube videos on coin shooting for their videos on their sales page for the TDI metal detector. I was surprised, to say the least, since they did not inform me that they were going to use them for their promotion of the TDI or, what was customary in the past, offer me a $100 gift certificate for their use. I guess that I shoud feel honored that they are using my video to help promote the TDI for coin shooting and I do to some extent. I believe that White's makes very good detectors and are second to none for service. The irony is that I had to send that detector back to White's as the GB was off and was not calibrated properly at the factory. I was picking up iron when I should not have. They sent me a new unit.....jim

Gosh Jim, I an extremely surprised you ever got anything for the use of your vids! How many $100 gift certificates did you get in the past? I never even heard of a company doing that - Good for you! If you don't want people using your videos, just disable the embedding - simple. Sure wish somebody would give me $100! - Terry
That has always been normal operating procedure for White's. Youtube is a public open place so they do not have to do so. However, for commercial use, it would have been decent of a company using the video to inform you. Perhaps decent is not in your vocabulary, Terry, and only using what you can get is. So, now you and the general public who could have learned from the videos as well as White's will no longer have use of the videos. Your fellow nitwits can thank you for that...
