Hello fellow panners to the west of me. I am heading over to CDA/Spokane for a couple days to play on friday. Ok for the wife to shop and for me to play. I am wondering where are there any prospecting shops at? There has to be some in Northern Idaho and Spokane valley. Thank you for your help. Maurice

Bowens Hideout in Spokane is the only place I have been able to find who has info and supplies for small miners.
Hi Moshe, Thank you very much for your help. I was able to check out Bowens. Had a good chat with the owner(names escape me all the time) and he is a world of knowledge on metal detectors. Then I was able to locate a new shop that this guy runs out of his garage. It is called Bear Creek Prospectors with a web address of www.bearcreekprospectors.com also a very nice person and had a few items stacked up for display. He says he is getting more inventory in as the weather gets better. Hope maybe this helps you if you are in the area. Again Thank you !
haha I just refined my google search for "prospecting equipment in spokane" and now am getting google results for sterling savings bank, Wells Fago bank and other financial offices. Suppose those folks would mind me bringing in a recirculating sluice and pan through the safety deposit boxes???
Hummm I did a google search and only got 1 shop that had a working number and he is not sure if he is going to be around. Several mining supply shops for bigger operations. Just got off the phone with a gentleman in Rathdrum ID who invited us to a prospectors breakfast saturday morning. Just thought it would be fun to check out a shop while we were out spending money
maurice there use to be 2 shops on the main street of sponane kinda hard to find if your driveing very fast was at both of them twice about 4 years ago
