Ok so I am new to here and to prospecting, but I would like to ask all of you if I need a sluice box if I purchase a gold cube. I had seen that thing get really fine gold and well I would like your experience in this matter.
Thank you

I have had my Gold Cube for over a year now. I run my material through a sluice and then take the left over material that gets caught up in the sluice and run it in my Gold Cube. It is a hugh time saver and is well worth the investment I think. I have used my Gold Cube in the river 1 time and find that it really is easier to set it up at home on a recirculating system and run it that way. I just put a tupperware bowl under the Gold Cube outlet and catch the run off. Throw it in a bucket and improve my dirt driveway with it. I have a couple of times cleaned everything up and ran the cons through again only to get a flake or 2 so for me. Not worth the time. I also use the Gold N Sand hand dredge and a good ol shovel to get my material. I almost always classify down to a 20 mesh screen just to make sure I retain as much small flake as possible. I call my Gold Cube my best tool in my box. Yes I am a Gold Cube dealer but I am because I was so impressed with the product that I bought in.
I would primarily use the Cube for processing cons from dredging or sluice box cons
My answer to you question is the same as Tim (Creator) & Richard.
The set up in the vid looks good but I think the water flow may be too high. I've used a small recycling sluice where I would classify to 1/2 inch. The Cube needs to classified to an 1/8" or less. To use the cube ONLY, and classify down to 1/8", you risk tossing a nugget away that is just bigger than an 1/8". The sluice will catch that +1/8" nugget and the finer gold that may pass through the sluice will get classified to an 1/8 or finer and will definitely get caught in the cube. Even running in the desert, it works great with about 50 gallons reserve water.
this is some of the fine gold i get with out useing a cube or a sluice with a cube there are a lot of things on the market that will work good you just need to research and find out what you like and want to use the cube is a good choice but forget the sluice if you get the cube with the grizzly
looks to me if your useing a cube after a sluice its not catching all the gold like it shouldthe cube dosent require a lot of water like in the vid with the sluice if you shovel into the grizzly on the cube its going to work just fine the cube will catch the gold so why add the sluice to be honest i have seen the cube in action it works great for fine gold as well as the bigger gold but i am not fond of it but mike pung the guy that designed it is a great guy
why do you need a sluice set up with a cube if its like the pic on your post above on this page thats a defeat of purpose
no, I seen this video and wondered if the sluice looses flower gold

has anyone tried the gold cube and sluice box combo?
like on this video
a sluice box will help you catch gold in the streams and rivers you would then run your concentrates thru the gold cube to do a final clean up
