Are you ready or already in action?
I have everything together for this season of prospecting but the "Lady of the Snows" says to stay home,...... just a while longer.
Claim is .5 mile upstream. Hopefully will get in around the end of April.
How's it goin' for y'all?

Heck I walked about 2 miles on snowmobile track packed snow last friday to get to my spot. I only sank a couple inches with each step. Then had about 450-500 yards of almost waist deep snow to get to the creek. Then only to have it start to down poor. So needless to say I only panned for a few minutes until I gave up and headed back to the jeep. But it was raining so hard that my tracks in were almost gone. So maybe this weekend it will be easier
You're a real die hard. (tips hat)
It'll take my Bud and I most of the day to set up our equip.
Everything is under the snow right now. : (
Hurting for you Steel Pan 70's here this weekend !
70's..? OUCH!!!
Makes me feel soooo much better that ya feel my pain. LOL
Hey that ground is prime. once theres cracks down the the soil your good to go. I go rain or shine. But if its snowing big flakes where you cant see what your doing or if you cant tell where the road is then I bag it. just need to watch the lightening.
The ground you're lookin' at is private prop., but I have a key to a gate to get up to the claim.
There IS a road on the left side of the stream.
There's a whole lot more ground like that up stream and some exposed bedrock too.
