pump size.

Probably has been discussed to death.  But I am trying to put together a highbanker/dredge combo. 

We will be working Wa. Or. Mt.  Mostly smaller creeks.   What size motor?  I am seeing a lot of new unused Hondas on Craigs list for 400 to 650. 

Also would you buy a header box or try and build your own.  Not incapable but not sure the time and effort is worth the savings.

Any input is appreciated.

    the pump  that mr.jim has is not from harbor  freifht  its a briggs motor and a pacer pump works great for bankes and up to 3 inch dredgesi hanve use them for a lot of years  they hold up great yearly maintaince is a new plug and always remember to drain unused fuel from tankthis pump weighs less then the ones from h f

      Well on second thought, got a call from a guy who has a new 5.5 Honda trash pump never had gas or oil for 400.00.
