There's a place near vernal Utah on the green river at a place called horseshoe bend along a long stretch of the river known as the green river placers. I'm planning on going out there this spring for the first time and so I got a banjo pan to take because due to regulations you can only pan, no exemptions. The gold is fine from what I hear and there is a dinosaur museum and dig site in the area.
