These government workers don't seem to remember that we pay their salaries, but unfortunately we don't have the power to make them do the right thing, we can only go through the channels, which means another government worker that doesn't think they have to answer to us, a catch 22 situation it seems!!!
I would not trust the GOV as far as I can though them. I work for the GOV for 14 years and lost it to a little piece of paper nothing I did bad it was the higher up that burned me. now Im working with painting at a steal plaint here in ND. Now this the GOV think out of the box to beat them, but leave the box open for more thought.

Sorry, I must intergect here.
This is an issue that really gauls me.
One of my pet pieves.
It's "Smokey" the bear, If you know the song, it clearly says "Smokey" was his name.
The Easter bunny has no name, and "Frosty" is a snowman's name.
I detest all the so called policically correct B.S.
O.K., my rant is over.......LOL
Back to the issue,
I too, have had probs with the gov't responding to my inquiries.
A simple question,.....
Can a claim holder legally occupy an existing structure, built by previous claimants, on a mining claim?
.....and no responce.
So, I figure it's a non-issue and prospectors may act accordingly.
I know you can't stay year round, but I figure one can use an existing structure while conducting operations.
I believe the limit is 14 days in a 90 day period.
