My favorite spot

I've researched this place for about a year and know a lot of it's history. Last weekend I managed to get a few pics of my "Little Piece of Heaven". Six miles in and takes about 1 hr. Can get in w/2wheel dr, but low range 4x4, 1st gear(granny, or deep under ) to get back out. Well worth the crawl in and out, though. Oh ya, I saw fish in the stream. MMMmmmm! Good! I love fresh Trout!

    I'm in Nevada, but my claim is in Calif.

    (wow, this thread is almost 6 years old.)

    A lot has changed at the claim over the last 6 yrs.

    If you click on the persons name it usually shows. His shows Reno, Nevada, hope that helps you.

    I hope you have a super anniversary visit to your claim! It sounds like a definite piece of paradise.

    Andrew, you're my kind of prospector. I believe in research (where I live, that's about all I can do) and it sounds like you do too. It can sure make a difference WHEREEVER you are prospecting,

    The wife and I are headin' out to the claim for our aniversary, for three days.
    Camp a little, fish a little, prospect a little more than a little.

    For me, it'll be like goin' to Heaven.
    Nice stream with a little gold, with green grass and shrubs along the shore. Fish in that stream, deer in and around the claim. Cedar, Pine and Fir, from 1" to 80' or more. I haven't seen any traffic within a mile.

    . best a lukok quartz not required. but when you say color every pan, how much color?also saw your topo map thoing ever heard of maptech terrain navigator? 3d imagery topo maps awesome best wishes
