I am really enjoying this forum. It is filled with prospectors and miners that are not so eager to go off on tangents like some other forum sites I am part of. I get so tired of some of these guys letting their over inflated egos get in the way of an intellectual discussion of a subject. Can't people just have a simple conversation about a common interest without having "know-it-all" people butting in and posting that they have the correct answer to everything even though they have no idea what or where you are really talking about.
This should be kept a FUN activity, no matter what degree you are into it. If "newbies" are logging on and wanting to gain some insight from some of us sourdoughs, we don't want to scare them off with a bunch of personal politics that do not have much or anything to do with the subject at hand. There are political threads for that. Sorry, guys...when I log onto a prospecting site, I just want to sit down an share experiences with others.
I want to say "Thank You" to all the nice people on this forum site that have welcomed me into their prospecting circle with open arms and let me into their living rooms for a brief little chat.

I want to thank the site. Ive seen newbies (such as myself) completely attacked for asking legitimite questions on other sites, just trying to learn and further their knowlege. Ive been so happy with the welcome Ive gotten here, looks like Ive found a home while I have fun on my new adventure
Being a fairly new prospector and locating this site has really brought a lot of joy to my life! The people here have made me welcome and spread the knowledge without trying to make me or others to feel inferior. Great bunch of people and good conversations too!!!!! So as I have seen here before come in and take your shoes off and stay a while cause they make you feel at home. Tim keep up the good work and to all THANKS!

although this is a open forum we do try to keep it to a minum of wat is discussed so as there is not a bad discussion on any subject most of us would rather talk about what the forum is for there is a lot of info from a lot of very good and knogable people for one and all we can all learn things reguardles of how long we been prospecting and mining you might want to join us in the chat room at night to just shoot the bull with us thanks for joining us and hope you enjoy the gps site
