I went and checked a woods site Ive had my eye on and I'm glad I did! Will be going back for sure. Here's today's finds....the axe head is in great shape!

And my best coin yet....A large cent. Here's when it came out of the ground
Before I tried to clean it I could barely see an 82 in the green crust which would make it 1820's but after a hot peroxide bath, it lost a lot of detail :( Cant say for sure it was an 82 (if you look for a date long enough and hard enough, you start seeing all sorts of things lol). Should have left it alone.
Although it's pretty toasted, I'm absolutely thrilled to have found it. Cant wait to get back and see what else is waiting there for me!
