    I know the feeling......will not be able to get to our claims til mid june or later due to snow...make a short season working the claims here in Montana

    We aint flooding here, but the water is at the normal high water mark and has been for a few days, I figger we can get intot he claim maybe in another week, maybe 2, but even then the meadow will either have standing water, or be so soggy you can walk on it for another couple weeks..... a month ago there was 5 feet of snow on the road one mile from the claim..... and 2 feet in Elk City..... and it has both snowed and rained since then...... not sure what is left though... only 106 miles to drive one way to find out.

    I made it to about 1/2 mile to the road down to my camp. The north facing slopes at about 5000 ft still have snow in the dark corners. Went to the bottom of the claim on another road at the confluence of another creek and my creek was running well. Hopefully turning some material over.

    Let me know how it goes, I want to get into another area about the same elevation as your claim. I hope to get out next week end.
