Spent the last few days building this portable fine gold recovery setup. It is in the tub running just in case there might have been a leak or 2. The black box is my power supply running it. I plan on running it off a lawn mower battery. I ran about 1 gallon of fines through it tonight. But of course my luck no gold from my hard work yesterday. So I went and dug out my vial of practice gold and mixed in 9 pieces of gold in about 1/2 gallon of fines and after all said and done 9 small flakes of gold back. So I guess it must work ok. Thanks Ted. I have a couple of better patterns in the works and if I can pull it together should look like a class act. Oh I have lots to cleanup just no color in the cleanup LOL. Just fun building this stuff

NAW Riverdigger I tried that already saturday when I was out with my father in-law. Which leads me to a game warden run in. I was trying to move this HUGH rock in the river. I looked up sure enough here comes this game warden. He parks his truck right in front of my jeep so I couldnt move. He gets out of his truck and starts walking towards me in the river. So I put down my shovel on the bank and walk over towards him. He asks how it is going today. I replied pretty good. Then he asks for my panning permit. I litterly said "What?" He says I need to see your panning permit. I must of had one hell of a scared look on my face becasue about that time he gets this big smile on his face starts laughing and says, naw, just kidding. Holy crap I pooped myself and here he is laughing at me. So we talked for a little while and away he went. Within a few minutes of him leaving my father in-law comes up and asked what he wanted? I told him he was just checking to see if he could scare the hell out of me and he did. Oh I love game wardens with a sence of humor!!! Buggers
