  • I made my own one way valve in the section the 3/4" suction tube is attached to the 1 1/4 tubing. Works great with water. Figure I can use a suction tube as long as the pump stroke which is about one meter.
  • Have you tested it yet, what keeps the material from going back out the nozzle instead of going into the hose and to your bucket/sluice, I don't see a check valve which I think would be needed for it to work correctly?

  • i love my GOLD N SAND  hand pump they work real good here in the creeks and rivers

  • Oh there's several streams with convoluted culvert tunnels and it will be perfect for
  • I have many small streams that have 4-5 foot round pools and like 5 foot deep. Now can see what's in them.
  • cool thats good bet you can reach out there
  • Yes 4" longer draw length is alot. Plus just like a bow you don't have to pull it all the way back. I made it to reach under the huge boulders we have and deep holes on small streams.
  • My arrows are 30 in so that's the difference then
  • Spur if you mean by trap I will run 7 foot hose to a bucket or my sluice box n I made it for testing streams for colors and some area's don't allow using my power dredge.
  • I have no problem pulling it back. Overall length is 5 foot long with a plunger pull of about 39 inches. I shoot uncut arrows from my recurve 34" draw length.
