  • Keiths explanation makes sence although I don't know what pouring the slag off a crucible is, lol It's cool though. I like the turtle shell, has more of a fossily name. The little thing on top is a feather duster worm. Ok so I made that up. but it is cool

  • We found different ones that day that were different shapes but the same look.

  • This looks like it was poured, like someone poured the slag off a crucible.  The outer ring cooled faster then the inner ring, and the raised spot in the middle is where they were pouring.

  • Not really heavy no more than rocks its size and color stays the same when scratched this was found up at the Swank claim in north eastern Ohio.
