This looks like it was poured, like someone poured the slag off a crucible. The outer ring cooled faster then the inner ring, and the raised spot in the middle is where they were pouring.

We found different ones that day that were different shapes but the same look.

Not really heavy no more than rocks its size and color stays the same when scratched this was found up at the Swank claim in north eastern Ohio.
