11 Hour 4th of July 2019 Beach Hunt & Gold Ring

Boy oh Boy, this years 4th of July was a tad bit different. The crowds were not as large as in past years. It’s the same thing with the trash, hardly any trash left over this year compared to past years. Partly due to a possible beach closure just days before the 4th from the never ending sewage problem being dumped into the ocean by our neighbors to the south in Mexico, an ongoing issue for the past few years with this years total of 52 days of beach closures. The other reason why I believe this years attendance was down is due to the remnants of Hurricane Barbara and there could also be another reason but this isn’t the place to talk about it. Other than that, this years hunt lasted 11 hours and netted almost $20 in clad coins, 3 junk rings and a 10k white gold wedding ring. I had a blast and I hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July this year.
