I headed up north to Oceanside, California from Chula Vista, California via the Train. I haven’t been to this spot in over a year. While there I met one old timer who was using a vintage radio shack metal detector. He wasn’t sure if his machine was working or not. Tossed a quarter on the ground and sure enough it blasted his ear drums. The second guy I met was from Arizona using a AT Gold and a rock hammer instead of a sand scoop. He told me he wish he had bought a sand scoop and he was having a blast trying to locate his targets. The third guy I didn’t meet but he was already leaving the area. He was using a PI. The area he worked, I went over and found 3 silver rings and the silver bracelet. The other two junk rings I found south of the pier.Needless to say I had a blast and it’s been awhile since I had a haul like this
