whites dfx

hello to all. can someone out there tell me anything adout a whites dfx spectrum e-series metal detector?my sone inlaw just gave it to me.he said his aunt used to work for them.they gave it to her when she retried from there.is it a good one?can i find the au with it?thanks to all that have helped me here.going to az next week.gona find me some AU.thankd again.maybe someday i will be able to answer and not ask all the time:) larry

    Howdy Larry,
    I'm a Minelab Dealer, but I know other detectors as I have 20 years of swinging a coil. The DFX is a general detector and a good one, but keep in mind that no detector can do everything well. When gold hunting I mostly prefer a Pulse Detector. Cheers.

    I'm glad it helped you Grey Wolf. I wish you a great deal of enjoyment from that fine rig. I bought my first Whites (Coinmaster 4) in 1973, and it still works fine. I have 2 new ones GMT and 6000 xl Pro, and I love them all for their performance.

    It's a top of the line machine. I've got a couple of Whites units on either side of that model and it will really work for you.
