I am living in Bangkok Thailand and Ghana always between this two Countries, being involved in Thailand with production of Advanced Plasma Oxidation which has proven very beneficial for Alluvia Gold mining and as well other minerals.
I am in Northeast Massachusetts but do most of my prospecting in NH and Maine. Been digging for about 3 years and am totally hooked! Mostly sluicing and panning but now have a 2" dredge that is going to get a good workout this season up on the Wild Ammonoosuc River.
My husband and son are going to Alaska in June with the GPAA group.
Our son lives south of you, in Fremont N.H. Wonder if you know of any places in his area where he could pan or sluice.?? He is fairly new to this , but is giving it a try.!!
Cool! Actually, I live just across the NH border in MA, so Fremont is just North of us. How did your son end up in NH from CA? His best bet is in Bath NH, about 2 hours north of Fremont. Tell him to come up and visit us on June 10-11. Good luck in Alaska...a dream vacation for sure!

Now living in west central Ohio, but plan on moving back to the PNW before too long... I have been prospecting for a little over ten years...
I enjoy panning, sluicing, highbanking and dredging. I want to get a good metal detector and add that to the list also,
