Very nice Jim !!!
About a 150 years ago, I used to do some woodcarving. Bifocals and arthritis have pretty much ended that for me. Here's a cane I used to carve.
This is Rick's Car and he does the driving it was built here at Anderson Automotive (my non prospecting employment) and we run it at the local drags but will be in Sacramento latter this year ! 1964 Nova 800 plus h.p. runs in the high 9's

A lot of my hobbies are somewhat related to prospecting. I started picking up pretty rocks a while back which led to lapidary. I enjoy making cabochons. We also metal detect for coins and relics. We enjoy ghost towning. Other things we like are traveling in the motorhome when we can afford the gas, photography. and model railroading. A few years ago we picked up square dancing . It's not something I ever expected to do but it's fun and good exercise as well.
Wow, I have a LOT of other hobbies. I guess my biggest hobby at the moment is playing hockey. I started about 2 ½ years ago. Went from never skating to winning 2 championships and several awards. I usually play 3-5 games a week. I hate exercise so this is how I get most of it. Plus it gives me something to do in the winter. Last fall I picked up a Kona Satori mountain bike which is also known as a 29er. It has 29” wheels rather than the usual 26”. It is a full suspension bike. I use to race mountain bikes but for the last few years have gotten away from it. Getting old I guess. I also enjoy atving. I just sold my old 2010 Arctic cat 700 that I built up for a cross country type machine. I was able to carry 10 gallons of extra gas and had front and rear winches and a lot of other goodies for boondocking. I am looking at picking up a new machine to replace it. My wife still has her 2011 Arctic cat 700 TRV but I don’t get to drive it much LOL. I live for my outdoors. That is why I live here in Montana. I enjoy fishing, elk and deer hunting. I have had some of the best fishing this year already that I have ever had. I have a personal pontoon boat that I row around the lakes with and makes for a nice day. I really enjoy camping but with my busted up old body I need the comforts. So a few years ago I stepped up to a motorhome and have really come to enjoy it. I can hook my trailer on and load my atv’s and pontoon boats and put the prospecting equipment inside and head out for a fun filled weekend in the mountains. I use to race street cars and stock cars on the circle track but have gotten away from that also. My wife currently has a 2010 Synergy green camaro that we use to show but now it is just her daily driver. I am currently looking for a late 60’s mopar project car to rekindle that fire. Plus I need a winter time project. I am also lucky enough that I have a job that I get to work 4x10’s so it gives me 3 day weekend’s to do all my hobbies. Pretty spoiled.
