  • Hey goldfinger. Just saw this post. I live in Saugus a few miles from Texas canyon. Prospected up there last summer for a day. Its there just micron and not a whole bunch. However as that was my first summer prospecting didn't really quite know what I was doing. Will have to go back and sample now that I have a better understanding of what I was doing wrong. That canyon is also a popular ohv area so you have to make sure to be aware of ur surroundings as most of the guys 4 wheeling probably won't be looking for prospector around the next corner. If we ever get some rain over here this winter I'll shoot up there and sample then let u know my results.
