This piece was found underneath a tailings pile,we spent almost 2 full days removing the pile by hand.Then dug and HiBanked unworked ground.We did this on the advice of an old timer that swore there was unworked ground under neath.He was right and we have been chasing our tails ever since
to find similar ground.

Now Thats a Clunker... Dang Good Job!! I pulled some 1-4 gramers out of my spot, nothing that big yet! I'm hopin under that andesite layer I found last month there will be some Biggies.. The overburden is partially cemented and a shovel just bounces off it, but shows promise with 8-20 colors per pan, no bedrock showing yet!

Yeah, now that I exposed it water's gettin in, It was bone dry.. That rain we had last week didnt help
