Hey guys, thanks for your input, it added to my decision. I got a pair of the Columbia Big Mens sock foots from Big Camo. then for boots found a pair of military goretex desert combat boots on e-bay for $35, they should be durable enough and add support for my ankles. Thanks, Paul
I use sock foot chest waders with a pair of black barn boots over them and do every thing I can to keep the sand out so they do not get a leak to let water in. That and long gloves for sniping in the water with knee pads in the winter time. Steve
With my sock chest waders, I have a pair of hard soul diving booties I wear with them sometimes but most the time I wear a pair of old hikers..
