Any suggestions for a battery charger for a 12v bilge pump? I was told a battery charger would be my best choice for my at home setup. But every charger I've tried has not worked because they are apperently "smart" chargers so I won't power anything but a battery. Where can I find a dumb charger? I've looked everywhere.

I hope you mean a charger for the battery. If so, you can get a nice float charger from Harbor Freight Item#42292 for 8.99 . If not, this belongs in the "best of".

usually people hook the charger to a battery then hook the pump to that.... :)
