I've been looking for some prospectors around the Auburn area. Anyone on here close by? I've had a little luck in the National Forest, just enough to keep me interested. Just looking for a partner so I can learn a little more. Any takers?

Try the Alabama Gold Camp in Cragford, Al. They dig the dirt out of the creeks and you can pan all you want for $5.00 a day!! Good free instruction also.
I haven't made it that far north yet, but I'll be sure to let you know when I do. How is the prospecting up there? I get some fines down here. Not even any pickers. But I'm still looking.
