  • Wow! I'm really moved by everyone's support. Let me coordinate with Tim to arrange some type of activity, perhaps a call or something, to gather more details and feedback from interested members who have played the game. I'll also work with my developer to get a hold of free vouchers for virtual game items (e.g. diamond detectors, gold, and bucks) and have them as free giveaways during the event :)

Anyway, please keep the suggestions coming and thanks for the words of praise and encouragement. Means a lot to me!
  • The game is fun the graphic are great. The only problem that I would say is trying to distinguish the different stones with out analyzing. That is why I up graded to a better eye loupe. When panning there is no rhyme or reason about what is a diamond. Then I found one huge diamond cost over 500 gold to cut was not successful. That's ok I found another one almost as big that was nice.

    Over all great game.
  • Thanks Joseph for the feedback and input. Just to make sure, you're suggesting to introduce some way to learn how to distinguish which minerals are diamonds so that gold doesn't need to be spent on non-diamond minerals? If not, kindly clarify... Thanks!
    • That's what I was thinking. Another poster hit the nail on the head speaking of no rhyme or reason when you are panning. If there was a way to increase a "skill" to distinguish what gems are what when panning.Make it a skill that would take time to develope, much like skills in life do. Given time I am sure that I could think up some other skills that could be added, but I'm sure you are well ahead of me.lol. One other suggestion would be to be able to sell other gems  or use for some other function. . I have my wife and kids playing it and they love this game!

  • I just tried this game and it's not bad. good graphics, I would only ask if there is maybe a way to "learn" what minerals are what, that way you are not always spending to analyze . just a thought

  • If anyone get a Ipad For Christmas make sure they Load this game  and let simon know if there is anything he can do to make it even better   Thank you

  • Any suggestions from those who have played Prospectors on how to improve the game?
  • Hey Mike, thanks for the positive feedback. Yeah that tends to happen when people see me shaking and tilting my iPad around when panning :)

Be sure to upgrade the "artisan relations" ability in the store upgrades tab (see image). This dramatically reduces the gold requirements when cutting your rough diamonds. Cheers and please continue to ask friends, family, and curious strangers to download and play Prospectors.

  • Just now downloaded it and went through the instructions on how to use it. I will leave more info after I play it on my own and will leave a comment on  the Apple site.

    • Thanks Magician for your interest and support! Warm regards.
