I just sent the following e-mail to Governor Schwarzenegger:
Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,
Since you decided to sign the SB670 Bill, I have absolutely NO confidence in you. As a Republican, I can tell you that you have LOST my vote. I will continue to support Small miners and their efforts to overturn this UNFAIR and Unjust legislation.
In addition, how about refunding my Suction Dredge Permit charge, since it was supposed to be for 1 year. You talk about the Economic Crisis the State is in, well start repaying the citizens who help support the State then see how BAD it really is! Oh...and an I.O.U. will not be good enough.
You can either contact me as to where to send my refund,or I can just send you an I.O.U. when Tax Time comes around. Gee, if it's legal for you to do, I guess it's legal for us to do too. With the economy is such sad shape, I'm sure you'll understand.
I know you're busy and will probably have some underpaid staff worker reply but I hope you at least get the message. Stop taking our rights away.
Oh, one last thing...I AM serious about my vote. I will never support you again and I am considering moving out of state and becoming an Independent Voter.
