Hey,
I was planning to go to the East Fork of the San Gabriel River next month, but I think I see it was converted to a National Monument. Anyone know what's going on out there?

From what I have heard, they are still letting people prospect up there.

I used to live up there and the whole national monument thing
kinda just pisses me off. That was my old home area. East fork and all.
ive thought about going up there to visit and pan.
There isn’t a damned thing on that mountain side worthy of “national monument” status
