Ohio Spring Prospecting

Got out yesterday for the first time. I hit a small creek, because the the rivers were still at flood stage.  I have hit the creek at least 3 time and have not even found a speck. I guess it time to hit a new creek. any one else in ohio get out

    I was able to get out on the 7th before we got hit with that rain that swelled up the rivers and streams. Had a great day and found some color.. Be patient you'll find it, It is there you just have to be patient you will find it.. 

    Good luck and may you always have a Flash In Your Pan... 

    There are a lot of Ohio prospectors here at GPS, I am sure you will run across some of us this season..

    Went out but again like you the river was at flood stage as far as that creek maybe sit back and study the creek. The way the water flows the bends and turns if there r and big rocks these places might hold that Gold that we all are searching for. ... keep trying .
