So…I’m sitting at home doing some “honey-do’s” on the computer around 5:00 and the doorbell rings unexpectedly. Then my daughter Sara instructed me to close my eyes. When she allowed me to open them, I was given a new Bounty Hunter Tracker IV metal detector!! Needless to say the “honey-do’s” can wait!! LOL!! After assembly, new batteries and reading the operator’s manual, a few practice swings in the back yard was of course the next step. Success!! Swung over some gold I had found, coins, nails, tin, etc. and was pleased with the “learning” process. Now all I need is someone who really knows a lot about detecting for some more in-depth teaching. I know that it is a basic detector, but it is a good one to get started with. Wonderful ending to the day!!
