I just bought my first MD. It is a Fisher F-2. I did some research and see that this is a good all around first detector. I paid 215 and got the 4" and 8" coil, a pinpointer, small composite hand shovel, a knife and sheath, and a coin bag. all from kellyco. Any advice from you guerues out there. Thanks.

Congrats, Bill! I just recently got my first detector as well and I'm having a blast with it!! My wife says that my Mother-In-Law's yard in El Paso looks like gophers have been trhough it. LOL!! Have fun and good luck!!
