Need Partner

Need a partner: Here is the deal already have a partner that owns the land and I have the equipment needed ranging from a portable backhoe, track loader, bull dozier,shaker,4" dredge,2" dredge various stuff from panning wheels to gold pans to separate gold from sand. I got down in my back so we need someone to help us,looking for someone retired or has time on their hands and is able to work when ever we can. I live in Williamston, SC and would like someone that lives close or would be able to drive to my home to help maintain and repair equipment when needed and load and ride with me to claim. THERE WILL BE NO GARANTEE OF ANY WAGES OR FUNDS!!! the gold is there we just have to get it,there will be a split to be decided by the three of us at such time we get together.

  • Steve, sent you a friends request, would like to talk to you more on this

  • 2960246901?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024Steve, Sounds like you have the same problem I do. I'm in WA State, have one claim here and 10 more in Idaho.  The problem is the younger generations don't want to do the work for the money. I've even offered to get my boys going, help them get their own claims, and get set-up. They'd just rather have all of my money without the work. It's kind of sad because all my claims are good ones. I just got back from a trip to Idaho, and with small scale equipment we were averaging 50 grams each per week.

    • I'd love to spend some time up in ID mining eventually. Perhaps when I'm capable of going up there I can help out.

    • Where are you located in W.Va ? I have 140 ac in West Union. haven`t even ck ed it for gold.Do you know about that area ? Chuck

      • The guy looking for help is in South Carolina. I live in Washington State.

    • Yep you are so right

      • We need to figure out how to get the younger generations involved.  The picture is of my last trip. That was 2 hours on a 2.5 land dredge. Those 8 claims are a mile or so West of Elk City Idaho, and they are hot! Those claims are the heart of their 1861 gold rush, everything they tried back then they failed doing, and I'm still finding advantages because of their mining practices. The problem there is water, it's there but you have to pump it a long ways. Back in the 1860's when they used long toms and monitors they also used settling ponds. Over the years the ponds ended up with a clay lining on the bottom. So we run one land dredge from the water source, fill up the pond, and use the water from that for the other dredges.

        • I don't remember if we ran into you but my family was just up in elk city area dredging for season. We did pretty goods my daughter who's 8 did a little dredging. I agree with you our young generation don't know anything but electronics. My daughter did great a month out in woods with nothing but wilderness. Can't wait to do it again.
  • I am a little more than a hop skip and a jump to your place, otherwise it sounds great, I wish you the best in your search,

  • I would be interested if I didn't live in ohio. You are just a bit to far away.
