need help finding the laws about prospecting in kentucky

i have connected 

Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife  and they told no rules and i asked the water division

i am asking for help from the kentucky people in this group and others u are willing to help find out the rules for kentucky

    Depends on what you want to do. Pan? Probably okay. Bulldoze? Probably not okay. My recommendation is to be discreet, have landowner permission and don't draw attention to yourself or your activities, such as by continuing your inquiries with the "authorities."

    IN and OH have well established rules, since they have gold. Go across the river! For in KY, don't ask/don't tell!

      LOL! Exactly......I have always found that in situations like this involving authoraties at the state level it is better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.
