hi guys and lady's im bill ..im coming to az this week by bus can any1 tell me the best city to go to bye bus cause i want to get right out in the desert and do nuget shooting . and im looking for friends that love gold prospecting could anyone use a hand. i most likely will be camping out there for many days at a time cause money will be short. if anyone can help me out you will have a good friend for life.

Quartzsite is west of Phoenix on I-10 about 20 miles before the AZ/CA border. It would be a good spot for detecting cause you would be able to walk from the buss stop to a workable spot.
You might check into Quartzsite.
Your choices are Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Kingman and maybe the bus will go to Prescott and/or Cottonwood, even Sedona. People prospect in all those areas and you can camp on forest land for free. Squirrels and bunnies are in season if you want to save on groceries, but it sounds like you might need an out-of-state hunting license.
