  • man jim sorry to hear about your truck ..the big question is are you ok ....your truck can be replaced and you will have a new gold gettin machine in time buddy

    • Only my pride is injured Tim, think I'll take the settlement to pay off my credit card. With that out of the way, I'll start saving toward another gold hauler like you said. I can still carry my sluice, and other stuff in my car. Just not my highbanker, or trommel. Ya'll have a good winter prospecting.

  • Sorry to hear your ride got wrecked!

Insurance companies will total a vehicle when the cost of repair gets close too or above to the value of an older vehicle, sometimes they will sell you the vehicle back for much less than they paid in settlement, usually scrap value, and if you can do the repairs yourself it would be a great deal!

  • Hope no one got hurt, but wow, that looks far from totaled.  A new door, a little work to the cab and it looks serviceable.  Sorry to see you got hit.

  • It alway happen to a car or pickup that you like a lot. It never happens to the one you wish someone would hit.
