  • Jim Dexter at Andex prospecting is the one for me you will never deal with a better man than Jim he's a rare one indeed. Great equipment really built and for the money you can spend a little more on the pump of Ur choice and still be hundreds less than the others.
    • what are your goals 101. the best selling bankers are all runts.except for one.that would be prolines BIGBANKER,however, there kinda prouda thatuatsnit like 4g.but thats economics.used to have my local fab shop weld mine up butt hes tired of working.you welders get busy.doesnt take much to make a vgood hopper.you can save a lot by fabbin and oya bigger is better.
  • get a g1 concentrator they save all the small stuff and are real light to use
    • for the money i agree the g1 best thing for the buck but it only needs 50 gallons/minute 5horse honda overkill/heavy to pack around especially with compressor involved for that pump i would maybe look at proline 2.5 or 3inch combo rugged units. yes the honcoop is wonderful product but big investment heavy kinda complicated.paid about that much for my new 4inch with air and swivel nozzle.id consider us prospector g1 honda 2.5 hp add 2.5 suction nozzle if desired.total around 1200.00 hope this helps
  • while i aint seen Lucky Joe's model, I will toss my opinion in about another members well built unit that being Jim Dexter of Andex prospecting, from what ive seen in pictures and read from the specs about it and talking to him on the phone, I doubt there is a better unit made for the money and will fit what you are after with ease as well on his bigger of the two units he produces. I am going to carry them here soon, and because of back orders from other companies i may have 2 sold I have not told him about yet......lol in fact i believe he has them undervalued for now compared to the others on the market that are of lesser quality materials in similar but still greater price range.

And the Hooncoop for $2800.00 in hs huge model is maybe the best built, but by far the most expensive small unit that combines both power sluice and dredge in a triple sluice combination.... It all depends upon what you are wiling to spend, and the type of material you intend to recover and process

    just my three cents [inflation]

  • The Honcoop is the best I've ever used--especially with fine gold.
  • Gary,
I just got my hibanker from andex prospecting, I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship of the hibanker. But that is not all I am very impressed with the customer support. If i had to buy equipment again I would buy from him. http://www.andexprospecting.com/ this is his web address feel free to contact me privately if you want.

    • Trace,
How have you done with the Andex Highbanker. I thinking of buying one and was hoping you could give me some input.
      Thanks,

You may have seen and clicked on my ad on the main page of GPS. But if not, I will make a case for my own product. My company is Advanced Mining Equipment and we make only one product right now. It is a very well made, well designed power sluice. It is made for moving quite a bit of material and requires 150gpm of water pumped into it. Your 5Hp Honda should put out 280-300gpm so that will work fine at a reduced throttle. Check out our website. If you buy, you will not be disappointed in the ease of use or the retention capability on all sizes of gold. I once was in your situation and could not find a suitable highbanker to buy. So two years ago I set out to build my own and ended up with what I am confident is the best one available. If interested, mention GPS and I'll honor my last show price of $995 + shipping.
