Hi everybody. I just signed up and am really enjoying the site so far.
Have any of you guys ever found color in WV? I've spent a lot of time googling about WV gold. If it's on the internet and contains both of those words, chances are I've read it two dozen times. I've read posts on other various forums of people finding gold here but it's usually somebody's brother in law's cousin's great aunt's dentist's preacher's....you get the idea...
I have done quite a bit of sampling in Kanawha county and have yet to find my first spec. I have found lots of lead shot, sinkers, pellets and such so that makes me think I'm doing it right.
Mucho appreciondo to anybody who can offer input on this.

what did you catch the bass on. They 7 to 10 pounders? Any Salmon to be caught There?

Those were both caught on crankbaits. The biggest was 6lbs, the other was 5lbs. We don't have salmon but we have streams that are stocked with hatchery trout and a handful of streams with native Brooke trout.
