If any of You all Prospectors remember when I won the gold specimen nugget about a Year and half ago...after I recieved it i thought it would be nice on a ring,so i threw it in my junk drawer and thats where its been sitting for a good while...so after digging it out of the drawer to do some airtesting w/the 705...I thought this nuggets to pretty to be in the junk drawer
Since I dont really have the funding to commision a Jeweler I decided to do it myself...
after watching a couple of youtube vids i got some ideas w/my own twist, and made my prototype out of a clad modern quarter...i was pleased w/the results so it was onto the 1/4 rnd.of silver................................................KK

hey KK
Saw where your finger turned a little green from the ring. My mother once used a clear fingernail polish on the inside of a ring that used to turn my finger green. This cured it for a long time and then I wore it off and had to re-apply! Hope this helps.
I got to see these rings over Thanksgiving. Wow, great work! These are the sort of rings I want to be finding with my metal detector - some good weight and solidness to them, rather than the flimsy little things I tend to find. Let me know when you lose that one with the nugget on it! I'll bring the MXT up your way!!
