Yesterday we went to the beach. Took the AT Pro with me too :) As soon as we got there we were surprised to see we got the place to ourselves. We walked over to a spot Vicky liked and we started to unpack the bag of beach goodies. I turned around and 2 ducks were walking right at me. I figured they'd keep their distance but nope....came right up to me so I took a pic from about 2 feet away....
Emily took off for the water and Vicky laid out her towel and sat down while I was playin with these 2 ducks. Then I hear "Oh my God!". I turned around and saw them coming from all directions lol....it was right straight out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie.....my last name is Drake....but....really..... :)
I told Vicky let see what happens if we sit still for a while. Maybe they will just go away.......nope! After about 10 minutes they all laid down and tucked their bills behind their wing and took a nap! I tried to get a sleeping pic but they are light sleepers and always got an eye on you lol....
Meanwhile Emily was hangin out in the water. She was laying there watching the ducks when I took this pic....
I did manage to go for a swim with the AT Pro and scored some clad and a junk ring.....
Was a FANTASTIC day!
