What best at recovering fine gold, the gold spiral wheel or a blue bowl?
I know some like a miller table or black magic, I just like your input on the two wheel or bowl

A spiral wheel and a blue bowl are 2 different tools for 2 different ways of separation. The wheel separates by specific gravity and there is no either or as far as these 2 machines go. I have both. The spiral wheel is a concentrator that can be set up after screening to recover only the gold a lot faster than the blue bowl but it works best on +50 where the blue bowl will separate the fines down to -200 if needed but it takes a lot of time. A better comparison would be a blue bowl vs a black magic and it's apples to oranges but a miller table is still my preferred final step.
I made a blue bowl that I use and it does a good job of separating the black sands from the gold. I can speed up the water or slow it down by using a valve . So I am partial to this method.
